Balochistan, a historical region in Western and South Asia, Basically the Balkanization of Pakistan

**Balochistan**, a historical region in Western and South Asia, is located in the Iranian plateau's far southeast. It is primarily populated by ethnic **Baloch people**. The region is split among three countries: **Iran**, **Afghanistan**, and **Pakistan**. Administratively, it comprises the Pakistani province of Balochistan, the Iranian province of Sistan and Baluchestan, and the southern areas of Afghanistan, including Nimruz, Helmand, and Kandahar provinces .

The name "Balochistan" is believed to derive from the name of the Baloch people. Interestingly, the Baloch people are not mentioned in pre-Islamic sources. It is likely that they were known by some other name in their place of origin and acquired the name "Baloch" only after arriving in Balochistan sometime in the 10th century. The term "Baloch" has been related to **Meluḫḫa**, which was used by the Sumerians and Akkadians in Mesopotamia to refer to the Indus Valley civilization (2900–2350 BC). Although Meluḫḫa disappears from Mesopotamian records at the beginning of the second millennium BC, a trace of it in a modified form, as **Baluḫḫu**, was retained in names of products imported by the Neo-Assyrian Empire (911–605 BC). Al-MuqaddasÄ«, who visited Makran (Bannajbur) around 985 AD, wrote that it was populated by people called **Balūṣī (Baluchi)**. Asko Parpola relates the name Meluḫḫa to Indo-Aryan words like *mleccha* (Sanskrit) and *milakkha/milakkhu* (Pali), which do not have an Indo-European etymology even though they were used to refer to non-Aryan people.

Basically the Balkanization of Pakistan 🇵🇰,
The only reason Pakistan is a seperate country is due to the religion Islam. There is no other thing to back up the country's identity. Due to it's staggering economy and political power, it is believed that Pakistan will eventually split. The only hurdle is Pakistan's military power which is more powerful than these seperatists who are fighting for their freedom and their own identity.

Pakistan being a tyrannical government have forced regions such as Sindh who speaks Sindhi and Balochistan who speaks Persian to speak Urdu. In fact even the pro-pakistan state Punjab is ashamed of speaking their own language Punjabi in urban settings and rather support Urdu's superiority which is the language of Muhajirs and was formulated during Muslim rule in the present day Uttar Pradesh area of India. Its sad to know that Pakistan is suppressing the identity, culture and language of people.

Let's hope that Sindhudesh, Mohajir Sooba and Balochistan attain their freedom and that the people of Khyber be able to join the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.
